N.illinois The accident happened on Saturday. The horses were all 1-2 years, traveling to Indiana and Minnesota ACC. took 5 hours to save the horses that were removed 7 and recover the rest at a farm. Why are they in a stock trailer and where are they? The slaughter is expected to take place in the United States? Does anybody know more details. The article on Monday, 10/29 "Chicago Tribune".

I have not yet found owners. I read an article in the Tribune and www.thehorse.com and 13 were suppressed, were in a double-decker bus. They were transported from Indiana to Minnesota for the auction. Horse Slaughter was arrested in the U.S., but I think horses can even to Mexico or Cananda slaughter are fed. From what I read, they were "not Således" sold at auction, and went to an auction of the project in Minnesota. It is still possible to end it, the slaughter only because so many of them and other horses at the auctions at this time. apparently came from the PMU ranch. I read that a total of 4 of these vehicles, but I do not know if it's true or not. Given the situation, not astonishing that the pilot hightail out there in the first flight home.
There can be no slaughterhouses in the U.S. Open, but still sold for slaughter. They are transported Mexico and Canada.
I would say that these poor wretches were likely to be transported to a slaughterhouse, north of the border in Canada. The slaughter of horses is perfectly legal in Canada and Mexico, and to stop the closure of the houses here, not the supply of horses in these places. One of the other authors mention that the animals had "no Således" somewhere, and it does not surprise me at all, given the serious problems we are with the overpopulation of horses, and there is a shortage this winter. No, I think the animals bound for slaughter, the owner or owners do not admit that what they did to the press.

59 horses in an illegal two floors - were killed in an auction, NM, no doubt. This article made me sick. I hope that other horses were killed, to help and go to save. Unreal. What a horrible thing that happened HTO.
I hope the driver gets serious a custodial sentence. Horses in the baggage is illegal two floors and 59 of them is the way how much too busy and in the middle of the night - of course try to get you to kill illegally sneak into auction. It is likely that horses are not the property - perhaps the Amish horses who want no more stolen - many Amish in rural areas and between the IT or maybe.

First, if these horses were sold legally project would not have been half in illegal actions.
Slaughter could already banned in the United States, but she is alive and well used in Mexico (terrible massacre in Mexico-procedure) and Canada.

I live in 10 minutes from this intersection, but I've just heard today about the accident.
More than 14 were actually submitted in the story that had Shipshewana and may be sold in MN.
Apparently they do not go to slaughter .. PMU foals go to a sale.
If it is true or not is not known.
