Turn On Radio With Motion Sensor SWR Meter For My CB Radio??

SWR Meter for my CB radio?? - turn on radio with motion sensor

I have three feet of steel cable for my CB radio. To be honest, I'm not sure how to use it, so my father, not instrunctions or antyhing. the underground passage to forw and back (makes it), a calabrator control, and a CB antenna on the outside. How do you use most, it shall be calibrated my radio? My radio has a built-in SWR meter radio. I calibrated and works well. I'm running at 1:1!: 7 This is a pc78Elite Uniden. It has also received a built-in counters and send to my radio. I also have an antenna that lights up red when my vehicle is in motion, but my calabrating remains the same? Why is this so? My main problem is that if I have the SWR meter outside my radio connection will not send or receive more than 3 puonds. Why is this so? I hope not too confusing. In the experiment, which had little space I use for this problem as much as possible. Thank you for your time.

  1. Calibrate the equipment / measure CA

    1. SET CALIBRATION / FS / SWR on the front of the meter calibration and / FS.

    2. Turn on the radio. Then select a channel or frequency of your
Channel and keep the transmission. Discuss not
    Microphone.

Notes: When reading the SWR are different for different frequencies
(Channels). When you transmit on one channel, often triggered
Otherwise, select the channel. If you are in different
Channel, select a frequency in the middle of the range of
Channels are used. (For example, if you go all 40 CB
Channel, select Channel 20, because it halfway between
    Channel 1 and Channel 40).

If you have a console-certification) is the modes (SSB, do not choose
the other of the two modes. (Only for the measurement of PM SWR-use).

If you are an amateur radio, select the continuous wave (CW)
or check the setting in SWR mode.

    3. Keep the transmission, turn the knob on the Subway
    Needle CAL.

    4. Release the button to transfer data calibration / FS / SWR steel cables.

    5. Press the transfer button again, then read the SWR having regard to the needle
Position in the upper echelon of steel cables. A reading of 1 meter in the upper
    The scale is ideal.

The figure, between the upper and lower scales in the underground
Is (% REF POWER) indicates the proportion of energy wasted
the reflection signal from the antenna back into the
Antenna cable. For example, an SWR reading of 1.5 also means that 4%
the signal is lost. However, 96% of the power of radio is
far from sufficient for most applications.

    6. Repeat steps 1-5 for each channel or obtain the desired frequency to a return on equity
    Reading.

    Interpreting SWR Readings

An ideal SWR reading is 1.0, but this reading is usually possible
under laboratory conditions or with a dummy --load. Real antenna
Facilities have multiple readings. The following information will help you
    Interpretation of the measurements obtained.

    CA Efficiency Interpretation

1.0 to 1.5 Excellent The antenna cable and antenna length
    correspond to the transmitter output
    Requirements almost perfectly.

1.5 to 2.0 very good antenna, cable and
    Transmitter operate very efficiently.

2.0 to 3.0 Acceptable antenna, cable and
Transmitter works with a loss. If
is possible to adjust the antenna or the antenna
    The mounting system improved.

More than 3.0 ineffective adjustment of the antenna or the antenna
    To improve system efficiency.
